Magnetecs to present CGCI to International Congress

Dr. Jose Merino to perform Live-Case presentation

Magnetecs has been asked to present a "Live-Case" study of its CGCI system to 2011 EHRA Europace Congress in Madrid, Spain. The "Live Case" presentation will consist of a cardiac mapping procedure using CGCI. The procedure will be simulcast to approximately 5000 cardiologists and other EHRA attendees in Madrid, Spain, Leipzig, Germany as well as select locations in the Netherlands.

Dr. Jose Luis Merino Llorens, Director of the Arrhythmia–Electrophysiology Research Unit at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, Spain will be conducting the procedure. Dr. Merino is the Principal Investigator of the CGCI human studies currently underway at La Paz Hospital.

Created in 1976, the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) is a branch of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and serves as Europe's leading organization in the field of arrhythmias and electrophysiology.

  • Biennial congress represents over 68,000 cardiology professionals across Europe and the Mediterranean.
  • Members consist of leading physicians, researchers and device/treatment developers from around the world.
  • Topics and discussions include an array of scientific and educational programs to further the cardiology sciences.
  • Attendance expected to be over 5,000 guests participating in a wide array of conferences and presentations over a three-day period from June 26th–28th.
  • Being held this year at the 10 million square foot IFEMA – Feria De Madrid convention hall located in heart of Madrid's business district.
