Clive Zickel Joins Magnetecs As Chief Financial Officer

Inglewood, CA – Magnetecs Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of robotic catheterization control systems for minimally invasive surgical procedures, today reported that Clive Zickel has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer.
Clive Zickel has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and as a CFO at large multinational corporations as well as emerging technology companies engaged in open ocean aquaculture and solar energy. He was a senior executive at JPMorgan Chase for 20 years, where he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Private Bank and of Chase Merchant Services. He was CFO of the Aircraft Finance Group, as well as General Manager of an equipment leasing subsidiary in Europe. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Dechert, LLP, an international law firm. During his career, he built numerous cutting-edge financial management, business intelligence, executive reporting, and key performance measurement systems. He has started and managed new businesses and turned around ailing business segments.

“Clive brings outstanding financial and management expertise to our executive team as Magnetecs enters the pre-commercialization and revenue producing stage based on growing demand for our Robotic Catheter Guidance Control and Imaging System. He will play a key role in our budgeting, management reporting, auditing, fund raising, and in supporting the growth of our financial organization,” said Josh Shachar, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Magnetecs Corporation.

Mr. Zickel is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development and a graduate of the Executive MBA Program at Stony Brook University Graduate School of Business, where he is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching Managerial Accounting and Financial Decision Making.
He began his professional career in public accounting, training with Hill Vellacott, the oldest firm of Chartered Accountants in London. After admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants, he was enlisted in auditing and consulting engagements with BDO Stoy Hayward and UHY Hacker Young in London and KPMG Peat Marwick in Italy.
